Whenever we visit our family in Holland, we try to also include a side trip to another country. These diversions have allowed us some very memorable adventures! Hans and I also enjoy Aviation. If you look up in the sky on a sunny Sunday morning, look closely, and it might be us flying around the clouds. If you look very closely, you will also see our dogs, Sammy, (Collie), and little Charlie (terrier), flying co-pilot!

Our family loves Nature. Whenever time allows us, we head for the upstate NY, Canadian border, in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. This is where we have our farm, and where we visit MY family. Our farm is also a Christmas tree Farm in Progress, and spending time there is how we stay grounded and escape the rigors of this hectic world we live in. This is also where the deer walk right through our yard. Occasionally we will encounter Black Bears, racoons, cougars, porcupines, rabbits, Fox, Eagles, Hawks, coyotes, wolves, and yes, an occasional SKUNK! And since we love the animals so much ,we are supporters of World Wildlife Fund, Defender's Of Wildlife, The Audubon Society, The Humane Society of The U.S , and very close to our heart, the ORLANDO Humane Society, where we have made several adoptions through the years. Remember, ADOPT FIRST!
